This authentic formula contains no added fragrance, dyes, or glycerin. Each bar is hand-cut and naturally air-dried, so weight, size, and appearance may vary slightly. Because no colorants are used, the soap’s surface can range from green to brown as it ages—one of the many signs of its genuine, time honoured craftsmanship.

Personal ways to use:

Replaces shower gels, synthetic soaps and even shampoo!
As a shaving foam: it foams a lot and can be used as a shaving foam for men's beards or as a shaving soap for legs.

For house maintenance:

As a stain remover: rub the dry stain with a moistened bar of soap. Spread the lather over the garment, let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse with water.
For laundry: Grate your bar of soap with a cheese grater. Dissolve a handful of the resulting shavings (60g) in 1L of hot water. Shake and let it sit for 24 hours. Stir again and add 1L of cold water; your eco-friendly laundry detergent is ready to use! Shake well before each use.
As a degreasing cleaner for walls, floors, and surfaces in the house: dilute Marseille soap flakes in a small amount of hot water. Wash the surfaces, walls, or floors using a broom or sponge and rinse with clean water.
